Terms of Service for Orbit

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Orbit desktop application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Orbit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the application.

2. License

Orbit grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the application strictly in accordance with these Terms.

This license does not grant you ownership of the application or its source code.

3. User Data and Backups

Orbit is a tool for managing your personal study data. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your data.
• Creating and managing backups. While Orbit provides features to backup data to Google Drive, we are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or failure of the backup process.
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of your data before and after backups or restores.

4. Google Drive Integration

Orbit's backup feature allows you to store data in your personal Google Drive account. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• You must have a valid Google account.
• Your use of Google Drive is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Orbit has no control over the availability or performance of Google Drive services.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without guarantees of any kind. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always function as intended.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of Orbit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the application.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse the application, attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the application if these Terms are violated. Ending access to the app does not cancel legal responsibilities or protections that are meant to continue.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our application after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
